Xiomara Chelius is a civil law attorney with extensive experience in corporate law, real estate, immigration, and general civil law matters. She advises both local and international clients on establishing and operating businesses in Curaçao. Xiomara has particular expertise in the Curaçao online gaming sector.

Before joining MXLaw, Xiomara worked as an in-house legal counsel and attorney at KPMG, where she collaborated closely with tax advisors and accountants on various transactions. In that role, she advised clients on corporate restructurings and provided practical legal guidance arising in day-to-day business operations.

Xiomara began her legal career at Soliana, Bonapart & Aardenburg in Curaçao after graduating from the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam in 2010. Her litigation experience enables her to offer strategic litigation advice that is firmly grounded in risk awareness and dispute prevention.

Xiomara is a member of the Curaçao Bar Association and serves as a board member of Human Rights Defence Curaçao.
